Asian antiques

For a long time I have been interested in Japanese applied art, especially the phenomenon of the Japanese sword and its accessories, netsuke, etc. I worked as a lecturer, curator of the Asian collections of the National Gallery Prague, Zbraslav Castle, specializing in sword guards and accessories (author of their exhibition in Golz-Kinsky Palace), netsuke.

On this subject, I am an author and curator of exhibitions, I publish and I lecture at the Rudolphian Academy.

I am a member of the expert committee of the Czech Antique Dealers Association (Asian antiques), a long-time member of the Czech-Japanese Association and an honorary member of the Japanese Sword study Association (Nihontó kenkyukai), which I work closely with.

I am the author of several publications and expert articles on the subject of Tsuba - the Japanese sword hand-guard.
